Practical experience in managing the internal and external Teradata database security
Strong understanding of Teradata Load Utilities, MVC, TPT, BTEQ scripts
High degree of efficiency installing and configuring Teradata systems with Teradata
Expertise with installing, maintaining, using all the Teradata tools (ex BTEQ, SQL Assistant, TPUMP, TD Administrator, ODBC, MLOAD, Fastload, etc)
Roles and Responsibilities
Installs, configures and upgrades Teradata software and related products.
Backup, restore, migrate Teradata data and objects
Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures;
Manages and monitor system performance. proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime
Implements and maintains database security;
Sets up and maintains documentation and standards.
Supports multiple Teradata Systems including independent marts/ enterprise warehouse.
Work with the team to ensure that the associated hardware resources allocated to the databases and to ensure high availability and optimum performance.
Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout and upgrades.
Responsible for implementation and release of database changes as submitted by the development team
Skills/Experience
Must have 6+ years of experience in MSBI technologies, Data Warehousing
Well versed with ETL concepts and expertise on SSIS 2008R2 and above
Very strong experience in T-SQL, SQL Store procdures, Data analysis

The Systems Engineer - Exchange will lead the design, architecture, implementation, security and support of large multi-site messaging server environments with a strong focus on performance, integration and high availability. Plan, design and implement best practices in technology, policies and procedures to ensure Exchange provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Mian Duties and Responsibilities
Plans and schedules work to meet assignments

Assists the system administrator in providing third level support to enterprise
Assists the enterprise system, systems assurance, application development, and operations services in developing, implementing, and maintaining the technology infrastructure
Accepts complete technical responsibility for equipment and assigned technologies
Makes evaluations and recommendations
Assists in the analysis, design and development of new technology
Documents design, implementation and final configuration findings for both new and existing techniques and equipment
